Luck You Zine #03: You is the result of an open-invitation zine workshop hosted by New York Art Department and Luck You Collective at The Hole Gallery in July of this year.  The workshop welcomed friends and strangers alike to create artwork for the next Luck You zine. Upon arrival, participants were offered a choice of canvases to use as the basis for their artwork: 5.5”x 8.5”photocopies of original artworks submitted by seventeen curated artists—some members of Luck You Collective, others invited by New York Art Department. Artists Baron Von Fancy, Clayton Patterson, Craig Costello, FAFI, Jack Shannon, Jesse Edwards, JIM JOE, Kevin Lyons, Kostas Seremetis, Kunle Martins, Lorenzo Bueno, PIXOTE, R©B 1970, Safwat Riad, Sean Vegezzi, Todd James, and Tristan Reginato contributed photocopies of black and white drawings for participants to create original works of their own using collaged materials provided by New York Art Department.  The workshop resulted in over one hundred original, anonymous, and collaborative works, the highlights of which are included in Luck You Zine #03: You.
